Versatile American tenor Michael Jones enjoys performing in operatic and theatrical
productions.

Operatic performances include appearances in
Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Almaviva) with
The Central Florida Lyric Opera, Lucy Simon's The Secret Garden (Albert Lenox)
with
The Utah Festival Opera, and Salome (Zweiter Jude) with The Orlando Opera.  
He has also been featured as “The Reverend Samuel Parris” in
Robert Ward's The
Crucible
, and as “Elder Gleaton” in Susannah.

Musical Theatre appearances include performances as “The Caliph” in
Kismet, and
“George” in
She Loves Me.

Orchestral performances include appearances with The Orlando Chamber Orchestra,
The Brevard Symphony
, and The Orlando Philharmonic.

This season Michael Jones will make debuts with
The Boston Pops, at Boston’s
Symphony Hall
, and at The Kennedy Center in performances with the chamber
ensemble
Cantus.  Mr. Jones has toured, performed, and recorded extensively with the
ensemble.

Mr. Jones has performed on
Minnesota Public Radio, National Public Radio, and his
artistry was featured on a recent episode of the
CBS dramatic series, I’ll Fly Away. Mr.
Jones recently debuted on
CNN, and African National Television. Live performances
include
American Public Media, and the European Broadcasting Union.
